Two things we will never do
Most of what a studio says about itself is marketing. These two are not — they are the reason the site is built the way it is, and the reason a film costs a couple of quid instead of nothing.
No advertising. Ever.
You will never see an ad on this site, in front of a film, or in the middle of one. We are not building an audience to sell on to somebody else — you pay us, and that is the whole arrangement. It is also why a film costs a few quid instead of nothing.
No AI. None of it.
Every word was written by a person. Every performance is an actor. Every frame was photographed by somebody who was standing there. Nothing you watch here was generated by a machine, and nothing ever will be. This is a place for films made by people who wanted to make them.
Why say it at all
Because everybody says the opposite by accident. A platform that takes advertising has to keep you watching; one that generates its films has no reason to pay anybody to make them. Both of those change what gets made, and neither is announced — it just gradually becomes what the thing is.
We would rather be small and say plainly what we are. If that ever changes, it will be written here, dated, before it happens — not discovered.
